Mary Belle
Ruddle
February 11, 1933 – March 20, 2026
Mary Belle Ruddle, born in Dalton, Whitfield County, Georgia, on February 11, 1933, to John Wesley and Cora Wiggins, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026. She retired after a career in administrative and clerical service in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mary attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Tulsa and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. Later in life, she discovered a love of knitting and needlepoint, leaving behind handcrafted treasures her family will forever hold close.
She is survived by her son, Mark Douglas Ruddle, and his wife, Kelly, of Adair, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Jeremiah Douglas Ruddle of Tahlequah and Travis Baxter Ruddle, and his wife, Jessica, of Provo, Utah; and two great-grandchildren, Lyndon James Ruddle and Mallory Kate Ruddle.
Nothing in this world meant more to her than her family, and her sweet devotion was steadfast. She exhibited the fruits of the Spirit in all she did with patience, kindness, long-suffering, and possessed a truly infectious smile. She had long awaited the day she would be reunited with her husband and the love of her life, Jerry, who preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 709 S. Boston, Tulsa, OK.
