Mary Rosella Seaver, 86, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born to G. Sherman and Mary Frances (Bowman) Linn on May 30, 1931 in Chelsea, Oklahoma.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Donald Eugene Seaver.
She is survived by her daughter: Deborah Bingham, (son in law Steve Bingham), and grandson Joshua Bingham. (Sister) Shirley Nowlin, (Brother) Sherman Linn, (Sister) Sue Ward, (Nephew) Scott & Marica Linn, (Niece) Staci & Steve Neasby, (Niece) Meighan Linn, (Nephew) Geoff & Beth Goolsbay, (Nephew) Mike & Renae Goolsbay, (Nephew) Russell Ward, (Nephew) Les & Cheryl Tallman, (Nephew) Wes & Connie Tallman, (Niece) Cheryl & Don Ford, (Niece) Chris & Dennis Coda, Louisa Martin; (Nephew) Billy Joe & Melissa Tallman. Numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Mary came into this world on May 30, 1931 she grew up in Chelsea / Nowata area off of the Deep Fork Riverbank. She was the oldest of 4 children. She graduated from Nowata High School in 1949. She married her High School sweetheart Donald Eugene Seaver on March 9, 1951. Mary & Donald moved to Bristow in 1962 to live on the farm where they raised their daughter Deborah Linn Seaver. They had many good years of raising their own food and animals. Mary worked on getting her Associates Degree from OSU in Accounting. Mary started working for Amarco in Bristow then later became employed by the Williams Company as an Accountant from where she retired. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader for many years. She was an avid oil painter, gardener, musician (writing, composing and singing with her husband). Mary was quick witted, smart, caring, much of everything positive you could ever think of, she loved spending time with her family and having get togethers. She enjoyed eating out, watching movies, playing card games, scrabble, Sudoku, and following everyone on Facebook. Her greatest achievements were her daughter Deborah and her grandson Joshua.
Mary will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Services: Destiny Church 1700 Aspen Ave., Broken Arrow will be hosting a come and go on February 10, 2018 from 1-5pm.
