Mary Ann Shelton
Mary was born May 22, 1941 in Oregon to Charles McCracken and Mary Hardesty. Mary was the 124th member of join by faith and baptism at the age of ten on June 10, 1951. Mary would continue her personal relationship with Jesus Our Lord and Savior and always studied daily in her Bible.
Mary was married to Raymond Shelton for 47 years, 8 months, one day until his death in December, 2010. Mary and Raymond had three children, Lori, Randy and Michael Shelton; eight grandchildren, Michael Bennett, Amber King, Delanie Shelton, Matthew Bowen, Brittany Shelton, Amanda Shelton, Colby Shelton and Shelby Simpson; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Mary was delightfully funny, compassionate, an advice country music fan, and even more passionate Elvin fan. Mary enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending as much time as she could with all of her family which also includes her sisters, Margaret Ennis and Doris Cross and her older brother, Earl McCracken until he moved out of Oklahoma with loving wife, Darlene. They continued their bond despite the distance that separated them.
Mary will be missed greatly by her many family members as well as the many lives she has touched. We will all remember her love, humor, compassion, and dedication to her family. She would not want us to be sad this day but rejoice she is with her beloved Raymond and mother, Mary and many others who went ahead of her and are waiting for her in Heaven. She is free from this earthly suffering and made whole in this passing. She and her beloved husband, Raymond are together again and have left behind many cherished memories for all of her family to remember her by. Let us all be thankful for her life that was so full and definitely well lived.
