Obituary
MARY JO ZERWAS 97, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mary Jo was born to Joseph Anthony Zerwas and Lena (Vogel) Zerwas on August 23, 1916 in Watertown, South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ralph J. Zerwas; two sisters, Rita McGrann and Mildred McKay
Mary Jo is survived by her four nieces, Rita M. Boyle; Mary Ann McAfee; Martha Dannenbaum; Josephine McKay and four nephews, Joseph Zerwas; John Zerwas; James Zerwas and W. A. McKay.
Mary Jo was a long time resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a retired registered nurse. After she moved to Tulsa she was a dog and cat sitter for many years. It was the happiest job of her life. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Rosary: 7:00 P. M., Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Moore?s Memory Chapel.
Memorial Service: 10:00 A. M., Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Church of the Madalene, with Father Bryan Brooks officiating. Interment will be at the St. Joseph?s Cemetery (Greenhill) in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
