Mary Madgline Martin Cook was born to Leona Bryant Martin and Bill Christian Martin on January 22, 1924 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. She was a bright, active child who grew to be an equally bright, active adult.

On September 26, 1942 she married Earl Cook and theirs was a very happy marriage with each devoted to the other.

For decades, she worked in the oil industry as a secretary. In her 80's, she began working at Lowes Home Store where she assisted on many levels and thoroughly enjoyed her time in a new work community.

She had an inquisitive mind and a love of adventure and travel. Visited ports of call include: China, Thailand, Egypt, Israel, various European countries such as England, Ireland, Italy and others which provided endless opportunities of joyful travel.

Madge was devoted to her family, her church and many friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law to her son-in-law, Tom, who she considered her son.

She is survived by: her daughter, Karen and her husband, Tom O'Leary, three grandchildren: Josh O'Leary, Sean O'Leary and Jaime Weinress - their spouses: Janna O'Leary, Rachel O'Leary and Stephen Weinress and four great grandchildren: Keeley and Finn O'Leary, Camden and Wesley Weinress.

Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association or Memorial Baptist Church.
