Max L. Albertson died February 28, 2019. He was born to Anna Lou and Luther L. Albertson in Childress, Texas on August 1, 1930. Although he was raised during the depression, his parents and his beloved Mamma, Callie Dobson, sacrificed to give him a very good life. After his education he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Most of his working life was spent in the oil equipment industry, traveling the world. His later years were devoted to the financial brokerage business.
He was preceded in death by his wife and best friend Phyllis, both of his parents, his grandmother Mamma and his sister Deannie Daggett. He is survived by a son, Sam Albertson and his wife Maria of Scottsdale, Arizona; a daughter, Kim Vanderpool and her husband Michael of Farmington, Arkansas; 1 Step-Daughter Susan Langley of Oklahoma City, Ok; 5 Grandchildren, Alyson Tingler of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Molly McGraw and her husband Cody of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Tyler Albertson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Gabriela Orozco of Tucson, Arizona and Lina Marcela Martinez and her husband John of Orlando, Florida; 4 Great-Grandchildren, Avery, Ryan, Maddie and Ian; as well as his best girl, Mickey; and his many great friends and only a few enemies.
