HOUSTON, Maxine D., 91, died Friday, August 14, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. Born January 19, 1924 in Fort Smith, AR to Charles William and Nancy Ella (Hulbert) Moore. Their family moved to Tulsa when Maxine was one year old. Maxine and her husband, Charles A. Houston, lived in California, Florida, and Texas but always returned to Tulsa. She was an excellent homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an exceptional artist, receiving several awards for her work.

Survived by son, Chuck Houston and wife, Rhonda of Friendswood, TX; daughter, Judy Collins of Broken Arrow; grandson, Billy Strong, Jr. and wife, Kelee of Oologah and their daughters, Hannah Richardson and husband, Bryce, and Madison Rose Strong; grandson, Patrick Strong and wife, Stephanie of Claremore and their daughters, Taylor and Jordan.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK.

Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 21, 2015 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel (918) 663-2233.
