KELAMIS, Maxine, 96, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019 in Tulsa, OK. Born February 21, 1923 in Tulsa, OK to Fred Lee and Pearl (Harvey) Rawlings. She owned and operated Savoy Restaurant in Tulsa, OK. She was a member of Harvard Avenue Baptist Church, and a past Eastern Star member. Her love for people extended to taking care and tending to people's needs, visiting nursing facilities, and driving friends to various functions and appointments.
Maxine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tom; son, Nick Thomas; two brothers, Ralph and Kenneth Rawlings. She is survived by three daughters, Christine Santee and husband, Joe of Murphy TX, Julia Hanna and husband, Nick of Bixby, OK, and Angela Kelamis of Allen, TX; son, Bill Kelamis and wife, Barbara of Bixby, OK; eleven grandchildren, Joe (Karen) Santee, Matt (Jennifer) Santee, James Santee, Jason Yerian, Amy Abele, Kevin (Tina) Hanna, Kris (Todd) Booze, Paul Kelamis, Evan (Elizabeth) Kelamis, Alex (Taylor) Kelamis, and Bryce Kelamis; twenty-one grandchildren; long-time companion and friend, Jim Sabos and his children, Stacy (Byron) Smyrniotis, George Sabos, Tony (Natalie) Sabos.
Viewing will be 10AM-8PM, Friday, March 29, 2019 with funeral service at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 30, 2019 both at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK.
