Melissa Jane Grove, 72, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on January 24, 1954, she was a woman of deep Christian faith who poured her heart into the people around her.

Melissa dedicated her career to children and families as the director of a Mother's Day Out program, caring for generations of little ones. She was also an amazing cook and baker, and her kitchen was always a place of love and welcome. Above all, she was a devoted grandmother. To her granddaughters, she was simply "Moppy," and she was the very best one.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Grove; her son, Adam Grove; her daughter, Sarah Sanders, and son-in-law, Alex Sanders; and her beloved granddaughters, Kennedy, Hayden, Scarlett, Brooklyn, and Shiloh. She was preceded in death by her son, Bryan Grove, and her granddaughter, Stella Sanders

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
