Melvin Wayne Blackketter, 82, of Tulsa, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017. He was born October 13, 1934 in Carter, OK to Kenneth Wayne and Alta Pauline Blackketter. He had worked for Allied Bearings. Melvin is survived by his children, Mark and his wife Kim Blackketter of Tulsa, Donald and his wife Debbie Blackketter of Collinsville, Susan Blackketter of Tulsa; grandchildren, Kenny Blackketter, Matthew Blackketter, Brian Blackketter, Jacob Westfall; his great grandchild, Thomas Blackketter; his brother, Allen Blackketter and his sister Jane Badgwell, both of Tulsa. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Shirley Blackketter.
