Obituary
Melvin Merle Iverson, 64, of 3206 S. Darlington Ave., Tulsa, OK, died on Friday April 15, 1977, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK, of acute respiratory failure. Merle was born on July 21, 1912 in Severy, KS, to Guy Iverson and Alice (Conaway) Iverson. Merle was proud to have served as a Staff Sgt. in the United States Army in WWII. He was a retired salesman for Tulsa Canvas Products. Merle is survived by his wife, Lucille (Foss) Iverson; brother, Ivan E. Iverson of Pryor, OK; 7 nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
