Obituary
Melvyn John Galka, 80, of Tulsa, OK, passed away December 2, 2025. He was born on February 1, 1945 in Chicago, IL, to Stanley and Sophie (Pomis) Galka. After graduating Melvyn served in the United States Army.
Melvyn retired from Amoco as Systems Analyst. He was raised in the Catholic Church. Melvyn enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, playing the stock market and Fox News. He was also a fan of da Bears.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Melvyn is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Heyen) Galka of 54 years. Two sons, Nevin and Luc Galka of Tulsa, OK, daughter, Brienne Galka of Texas, three brothers, Raymond, Carl and Edwin Galka, and a host of nieces and nephews.
No services are planned at this time.
