Michael A. Cates, 59, of Tulsa, passed away Thursday, October 15th, 2015. He was born February 24th, 1956 in Tulsa, OK to Donald and Betty Cates. He loved his family, his home life, and helping others. He was also a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. Michael is survived by his wife of 41 years, Norma Cates; his daughter Melissa Brown and her husband Jeff; grandsons Cole and Gage Brown of Tulsa; mother Betty Brann of Tulsa; brothers Don Cates II of Addison, TX, Dennis Cates and his wife Toni of Edmond, OK, Mitch Cates of Tulsa; and several nieces and nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his father Don Cates and his stepfather Pete Brann. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities.
