Michael Thomas Hewitt, 68, passed away on March 26, 2024. He was born January 28, 1956, to parents Shirley (Allegrezza) and Clarence Hewitt in Memphis, TN. His family relocated to Tulsa in 1972. He married Peggy Phillips in 1976 and they raised their family in Broken Arrow OK.
He worked as a CNC machinist for more than 40 years before retiring in 2023 from Pattison Precision in Broken Arrow.
He loved playing golf, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. Cars were also something he enjoyed. He liked watching car shows on TV and will be remembered as always having a "cool" car.
He was preceded in death by: His mother and stepfather, Shirley and Dino Allegrezza; son, Michael Thomas; and brothers, Richard, Joe, David, and Nickey.
He is survived by: Ex-wife/lifelong friend Peggy; daughter, Elizabeth; son, Gunnar; grandchildren, Peyton, Cameron, and Owen; sisters, Debbie, and Dianne; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30pm, Sunday April 21, 2024, at the Central Park South Shelter 1500 S Main St. Broken Arrow, OK (behind the Community Center).
