Michael Robert McWilliams, affectionately known to family and friends as Mikey, Mike and Mac, was born in Ottawa, Illinois on November 16, 1936. The only child of Michael Woodrow and Elsie Viola McWilliams. Mike met the love of his life right out of high school, a rival team cheerleader, Loaine McWilliams. They married in 1956 and lived a long and happy life together. Michael was raised Methodist and continued his faith throughout his life. He graduated from Elburn High School and was an All Star basketball player. He retired from Material Control, LLC in 1985 and cattle ranching in 2011. Mike was a lifelong supporter and fan of sports, history, games, a fantastic story teller and funny guy. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Garrett Michael McWilliams. He is survived by his wife Loaine McWilliams; children, Patrick McWilliams, Daniel McWilliams, Timothy (Katherine) McWilliams and Christine (Terrell) Hoagland; Grandchildren, Victoria and Mary McWilliams, Charles and Beatrix Hoagland. Services will be held January 20, 2022 at Moore Southlawn Chapel. Viewing from 12:30-2pm, Memorial Service at 2pm with Burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
