Michael Glen Morgan, born January 28, 1944 to Myrtle Viola Hull Morgan and Herbert Arthur Morgan in LaGrange Texas, passed away December 21, 2022. Before leaving earth to jump into Jesus' arms, he was preceded in death by his brother Gerald "Jerry" Edward Morgan and his sister Vivian Eileen Troutman

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Morgan, daughters Christy Marler (Tulsa) and Michelle Farrell with her husband Matt (Jenks), grandchildren Kai Marler, Mckenna Farrell and Maddox Farrell and great-grandson Max Marler along with several other cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Raised in Denison Texas, Mike considered himself a Texan to the core. Moving to Oklahoma in the lates 70's didn't change that for him. He spent his career in the Oil and Gas Industry, starting as a Geophysicist and retiring an IT Manager from Cimarex Energy Co. During retirement he enjoyed golfing and fishing until his health slowed him down. Most of his energy was reserved for watching his grandkids in their activities, he was even warming up to the idea of McKenna potentially being a Sooner next year! Over the last years he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reconnecting with classmates and a Morgan family reunion at Lake Texoma. As Mike aged, he showed his sensitive side more, and over the last several months made sure we all knew how excited he was to be closer to entering heaven to meet Jesus and seeing the family that went before him. The family is thankful his health problems of this world are healed and he is loving life with Jesus right now. He wouldn't want us to linger in sadness.

Services for Mike will be held Friday, January 6th, 2023, 10 am at First Baptist Church - Downtown Tulsa. In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to donate in honor of Mike to St. Jude's.
