Michael Paul Reeves was born September 16, 1946 in San Francisco, California. He died April 29, 2015, at the age of 68. Mike has lived in Tulsa since 1962. He graduated from Hale High School in 1964, and from the University of Tulsa in 1968 with a degree in psychology.
Mike was a master hypnotist and a master at physical therapy. He led "stop smoking" seminars for the American Lung Association for twenty years and he performed clinical hypnosis at his office for over forty years. He also loved performing as a stage hypnotist for large audiences of high school and college students, and for a wide variety of other groups.
Many friends have commented that Mike was a true gentleman. They knew him as a fun-loving, considerate, kind, and generous man. He loved to cook, enjoyed sharing jokes, and was always unselfishly willing to lend a helping hand to others. Mike will be greatly missed.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Eileen Reeves and his father, Curtis Reeves. He is survived by his wife, Jo Karen Bouteller; his sons Mich Reeves and wife, Ashley of Tulsa, Jeff Reeves and wife Necole of Dallas, Texas; and his brothers Ron Reeves Meadow of Felton, California and Greg Alan Reeves of Tulsa.
