Obituary
Michele Janet Wenaas passed away on October 4th, 2017. Michele was born February 25th, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Marlene Backstrom.
Michele moved with her parents and siblings to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1983. Michelle attended Memorial High School and would later marry Terrance Wenaas in 1985. They moved to Vista, California in 1986 and were blessed with two children, Amber and Wade Wenaas.
Michele and Terrance would later divorce and the children would move with their father to Perham, Minnesota in the 1990's. Michele moved back home to Tulsa and began work as a housekeeper/caregiver with her mother. She eventually met and fell in love with Chris Miller in 1999 and was his devoted life partner for over 18 years.
Michele enjoyed gourmet cooking, games, movies, reading and her many cats. Always a tremendously hands-on person, she also showed extreme gifts in art and interior design. She will be forever loved and missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Monday, October 9, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home at 2570 S. Harvard, Tulsa, OK.
