Mickey Darial Back was born October 1, 1942, in Oakland,
CA to Marvin D. and Pauline V. Back. Mickey went to be with his Lord on August 30, 2023. The family moved to Salina, OK in 1943. Following high school, Mickey completed a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education and Master degree in School Administration at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. During his career, he served schools in Oklahoma, Colorado and Alaska. He worked with Boy Scouts of America in several capacities for many years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was predeceased by his parents; daughter Shelley (Back) Keener; and brother, Dr. Christopher Back. He is survived by his wife, Frances Goddard; son, MIchael Back; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson and two great granddaughters; brother, Patrick Back; and sister, Joy Back. Memorial will be held at a later date.
