Leola Mildred "Midge" McAtee, 87, Tulsa resident, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Midge was born July 26, 1929 to Herman and Anna (Eslinger) Thompson in Teresita, Oklahoma. Midge retired from Rockwell International as a project analyst. She enjoyed painting and was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Philip M. McAtee; infant sister, Goldie Myrle Spears and brothers, Junior and Steve Thompson. Midge is survived by her brothers, Roy and Violet Thompson and , Robert and Lula Thompson of Teresita, OK, W.R. Thompson of Lexington, OK and Doug Thompson of Tahlequah, OK; sisters, Martha Lou Simpson of Teresita, OK, Bobbie Wood of Arlington, TX and Lois Wilman of Tahlequah, OK; sister-in-law, Teresa Thompson of Peggs, OK; aunts, Liz Crouse of Derby, KS, Goldie Carpenter of Wewoka, OK and Maureen Galvan of El Paso, TX; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation: 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel.
Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 3, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK.
