Robert Michael Tiernan Sr., "Mike", 79, passed away June 12, 2019. He was born March 4,1940 to Thomas and Golda Tiernan in Ada, Oklahoma. Mike spent his childhood in Allen,Oklahoma before moving to Tulsa in the 1950s. He graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1958 and attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. On May 22, 1964, he married Fredericka "Freddie" Henry and together, they raised two children before her passing in 1982.

As a young adult, Mike worked in the banking industry before purchasing Pioneer Cleaners in the 1970s. He enjoyed many summers with friends and family at Grand Lake and, in later years, attending his grandsons' sporting events. He had a knack for repairing and rebuilding beautiful, vintage radios.

He was preceded in death by his wife Freddie, his parents Tommy and Golda, and older brother, Patrick. He is survived by his son Mike Tiernan, Jr. (Tara) of Tulsa and daughter, Tamara Kibble of Rotonda West, Florida. Additional survivors include grandsons Jake Tiernan and Dawson Tiernan, both of Tulsa, Chris Nickles (Candi) of Punta Gorda, Florida, and great-grandsons Derick Nickles and Logan Nickles. Mike is also survived by his sister Betty Law, nephew Pat Law (Teresa), niece Sheryl Curato (Ted) and great-nieces and nephews Haley Law, Kevin Law,Kayla Curato, and Colin Curato, as well as longtime friends Beverly Bassett and Jeff and Tina Quick.
