Obituary
Minnie M. Spyres, 85, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 1977, at Leisure Village Nursing Home, Tulsa, OK. She was born on Tuesday, August 11, 1891, in Shawneetown, Gallatin County, IL, to Alfred Taylor and Ella (Holbrook) Taylor. She was widowed, and a machine operator. Minnie is survived by her son, Loren G. Rogers and spouse of Riverside, CA; 2 granddaughters, Mary Palmer of Broken Arrow, OK, and Joyce Yoder of Riverside, CA; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a lifetime of friends. Minnie will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
