Mona Jin was born in 1923 to mother Gim Ip Wong and father Hing Yew Wong in Canton, China. She passed away on May 28, 2020 at Saint Francis Hospital comforted by compassionate staff and family.

She was quick witted and was the most loving, kind and generous person to her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking, eating, and a good game of Mahjong. Mona and her husband, Henry Jin, owned and operated two restaurants in Tulsa. The first restaurant was Ricsha, and the second Jade East. She was hands on at both restaurants. She was always engaged and showed her warmth, interest, and care to her customers and employees.

After 37 years of the restaurant business she retired and embraced her new focus in life: collecting panda bear figurines and enjoying time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Jin.
Survived by her daughter, Kimmy Jin; son, Edwin Jin, wife Elizabeth and three grandsons: Mark, Christopher, and Jonathan.

She was a loving grandmother who loved her children, grandchildren, and her Japanese Chin dog, Panda.
