Myrna Martin Wing Bartley, was born on November 23, 1936 in Tulsa, and passed away peacefully on May 5, 2017, after a valiant struggle with recurring cancer. Myrna was married to Joe Wing, a computer programmer for American Airlines and a well-known gospel pianist, in 1953. After Joe's death in 1997, she married C. Jack Bartley in 2007, a retired engineer, who passed away in 2015. Myrna was also predeceased by her parents, Wanda and Mel, who owned an automobile rebuilding shop in downtown Tulsa for many years. Myrna is survived by her son, Martin Wing, her daughter, Melissa Bruns, two grandchildren, Joseph Bruns and Allison Finch, their spouses, two great grandchildren, Mayson Bruns and Rylee Bruns, her sisters Norma Ingle and Sharon Walters, their spouses, and many other Martin and Wing-family nieces, nephews and in-laws. She loved her family and she will be missed.

After a career as a homemaker, Myrna was a retail sales associate with Bruce G. Weber Precious Jewels for over a decade until her retirement. Myrna's favorite things included jewelry, beautiful clothes and shoes (and shopping for them), pink roses, fresh strawberries and fried chicken. She was a member of the Golden Hurricane Club, often traveling to bowl games and basketball tournaments. Her favorite travel destination was Hawaii. She was privileged to take one final overseas trip with Jack to Europe, cruising up the Danube river, before the return of her illness.

Myrna was a faithful Christian and attended the Lewis Avenue Assembly of God, Woodlake Assembly of God, and St. James United Methodist Churches. Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, May 8, 2017, at the Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home, 9350 E 51st St., with family graveside services to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
