Born May 13, 1927, lifelong Tulsan Nancy Maddin died on January 16, 2018. A graduate of Central High School, she married William Arthur Maddin in 1946. After retiring from her 25 year career at Cities Service, she studied American Sign Language and earned an associate's degree from Tulsa Community College. Mrs. Maddin was active at Asbury Methodist Church in the choir, United Methodist Women, and Asbury missions. She served as a docent at Gilcrease Museum and volunteered with TSHA and the Tulsa Historical Society.


Mrs. Maddin is survived by son William Robert and his wife Nancy Kuivila; daughter Melinda Jean; son-in-law Charles Bull; granddaughters Katherine Bull Taunton-Rigby, Bethany Bull Benson, and Jennifer Bull Ramaker; and eight great grandchildren. Her husband William and her daughter Melissa Maddin Bull predeceased her.

Visitation will be on Feb. 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home. The memorial service will be on Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. at Asbury Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to TSHA or Asbury Methodist missions. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at www.moorefuneral.com
