Nancy Sue Mills Staab was born in Tulsa, OK on December 22, 1934, at St. John Hospital to Guy and Ruth Mills. She left this earth on November 7, 2024, just shy of her 90th birthday. She attended Central High School and graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1956 with a degree in Education. She was a member of the Chi Omega sorority serving as president her senior year and later serving as an advisor. While at TU, she met her future husband, Dr. Robert Staab DO. Following graduation, they married on June 30, 1956, and moved to Kansas City, MO so Bob could attend medical school. While there she taught 1st grade for a couple of years before starting their family. After graduation from medical school, they returned to Tulsa where Bob started his medical practice. As their family grew Nancy became very involved with her kids' activities and volunteering at church where she and Bob were active in small groups.
After taking a Precept Ministries Bible Study Course, she soon began teaching classes at Asbury Church which eventually led to her becoming a trainer for Precept. She enjoyed traveling the country/world teaching Precept including in the Ukraine. When her grandkids started school, she became more involved at Asbury helping coordinate bible studies and small groups.
She was preceded in death by her parents Guy and Ruth Mills, her brothers Jack and Dewitt Mills, sister Saralu Thornton and husband Dr. Robert Staab DO, son Craig Staab, and her beloved in-laws Murray and Dorothy Staab. She is survived by her children Bob Staab and his wife Robin, Jeanne Jones and her husband William, Thomas Staab and wife Tamra, and Susan Osborn. Grandkids Tyler Kaminski, Danielle Scott and husband John, John Lawrence, Michael Kaminski and wife Kristen, Madison Jones and partner Aerich Ferguson, Noah Osborn and wife Jenna, and Matthew Staab and wife Priti. Great grandkids LJ Lawrence, Jeremiah Scott, Chloe Staab, Aby, Alyssa and Ellen Ferguson and Steven Osborn who will be born in April. There are also numerous nieces, nephews, countless friends and many others that lived with her or considered her as a 2nd mom.

A memorial service celebrating Nancy's life will be held at Redeemer Church, 5415 E 101st St Tulsa, OK, on Friday November 15th at 1:00 pm.
