Obituary

Mrs. Narumon Brewer was born on January 5, 1940, in Donyai Village in Thailand to the late Pent and Bond Yothaprasert. She was one of ten children, blessed with three brothers and six sisters. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, and all but one older sister that still lives in Thailand.

Narumon completed her general studies in school and began working at an early age, developing the strong work ethic, quiet resilience, and determination that would define her life.

In June of 1972, fate brought two worlds together. While on respite from his Vietnam deployment, Air Force Sergeant Charles Brewer found himself in a small soul food restaurant in Thailand. There, his eyes met those of a beautiful Thai woman across the room - it was Narumon. Their connection was immediate - an undeniable moment that felt divinely orchestrated.

On July 27, 1973, surrounded by loved ones, Narumon and Charles were united in marriage. Their love story spanned 52 years, marked by unwavering devotion as they supported one another through every season of life-sharing burdens, celebrating victories, and choosing love each and every day.

Narumon brought a son, Lonnie, into the marriage, whom Charles lovingly embraced and raised as his own. From their union two daughters were born, Tanya and DeVon.

As a devoted military wife, Narumon created a loving home for her family wherever life took them - with Tulsa, Oklahoma becoming their final home. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family and building a household filled with love, stability, and peace. Narumon found great joy in exercising patience, extending grace, and offering unconditional love to those she cared about. She was the emotional anchor of her family - always placing the needs of others before her own.

Narumon's home was a place of comfort, warmth, and welcome to all who entered. She was a steadfast presence - quietly strong and deeply selfless. Her devotion to her family made her the heart and foundation of her home, a constant source of love, strength, and guidance. Her gentle spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and her legacy of love will live on through those she cherished.

After 85 years of a life beautifully lived, Mrs. Narumon Brewer peacefully transitioned to Eternal Rest on Thursday, December 25, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her devoted husband, Charles Brewer; her son, Lonnie Brewer; her daughters, Tanya Williams (Cedric) and DeVon Elmore (Christopher); six beloved grandchildren - Jordan Brewer, Sabel Sanders, Quentin Williams, Sydney Elmore, Alayna Elmore, and Gabrielle Elmore; one treasured great-granddaughter, Senica Brewer; a bonus daughter, LaToya Williams and her son Joshua; along with a host of relatives and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74145.
