Jim Sadler was born in Saint Genevieve, Missouri on June 15th, 1929 to Alvin and Beulah Sadler. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Loretta, Bill, Bob, and Betty. His sister Janet resides in Houston, TX. He was married to Peggy Sadler since 1953 until her passing on to heaven in September of 2021.

Jim was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to his family. His children and their families were a great joy to Jim and Peggy. They are Mike Sadler, his wife Marlynn, their children Sherrie, Stacey, Andrea, and Stephanie, and grandchildren; Jeff Sadler, his wife Susan, their children Daniel and Laura, and grandchildren; and Debbie Bennet, her husband Marco and their son Tyler.

He served his country in the Army for four years, serving in Germany driving a tank and playing on the Army baseball team. He began his work career as a machinist, then he went to Baptist Bible College in 1969 and graduated in 1972 to become a pastor. He pastored churches in Carthage, MO; Tulsa, OK; and Claremore, OK for many years. After retiring from the Pastorate, he opened and ran an insurance business until he retired again in 2013 at the age of 84.

He stayed active with his golf, enjoying the game with friends, sons and son-in-law, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed walking and walked a mile or two a day until he walked through the gates into his eternal home.

His memorial and celebration of his life will be held July 25, 2:00 PM at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, OK
