Nellie M. Kloehr passed away on October 21, 2023. She was 101 years old and has lived a wonderful and full life.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Moore's Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel. Services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Montereau Chapel. Following the service, she will be buried next to her beloved husband, Herman in Coffeyville's Restlawn Cemetery, Garden of Devotion, 2000 Woodland Ave., Coffeyville, Kansas. Family will receive friends at a viewing on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Moore's Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She was born Nellie Mabelle Adams on December 15, 1921, to Charles Edwin and Ida Mae Adams in Independence, Kansas. The family moved to Coffeyville, Kansas where she spent most of her early years. She was married on January 17, 1942, to J. Herman Kloehr of Coffeyville, Kansas. After the war, they settled in Coffeyville where Herman was employed, and she was a homemaker. In 1964 they moved to Tulsa. They were married for 70 years. Herman predeceased Nellie in 2012.

Herman and Nellie had two sons, Timothy and Clayton who survive her. Timothy (Sheryl) and Clayton (Elizabeth) provided Nellie with four grandchildren, Christopher, Santiago, Daniel, and David. She has many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, all of whom survive her. She is also survived by her special friend and caregiver, Debbie Rider.
