Nina Sue Hendrix, age 92, left this life on June 6th 2024, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, at the home of her daughter Pamela. She was the wife of Lee Hendrix, they shared 59 years of marriage an raised 5 children together.
Nina was born in Atkins, Arkansas to Hubert and Lola Mae Burkhead. She was a wife, mother and fulltime homemaker. Nina enjoyed church, fishing, family and friends. She will be remembered for her virtuous life, kindness, understanding and Godly spirit.

She is survived by children Anne Cole of Tulsa, Robert and Pamela Welsh of Wagoner, Son Frank Davenport of Broken Arrow, a sister Shirlee Ladd of Tulsa and two brothers Don and Shermin Burkhead. Nina also has a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lee, daughters Linda Davenport & Sarah Pohl, son Alvin Hendrix, siblings Barbara, Bill, Robert and Larry.
Viewing will be on Wednesday, June 12th from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m, with funeral service to follow at 10 AM at Moore's Rosewood Chapel, 2570 S. Harvard Ave., Tulsa, OK, and burial at 12:30 p.m., in the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.
