Norma Ailene Green, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.
Norma was born on July 18, 1937, in Centralia Missouri, the daughter of Leonard and Inez Wickel. She graduated from Hallsville High School and went on to earn an associate's degree in Interior design from Tulsa Junior College. Coming to Tulsa, Norma dedicated her time to her passion for wallpaper, serving the community of Tulsa through her ability to decorate and bring life to a home. Later, She changed careers to work with her beloved husband at Red Bud Air Filters, starting and managing the manufacturing department for Red Bud's quality air filters.
In addition to her professional achievements, Norma was a dedicated Mother and Grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She found joy in traveling to see her children and made several sacrifices to raise her grandson Jesse Isaacs-Boyett as her own after the passing of her daughter, Lisa Isaacs.
Norma is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jerry Green; her children, Don Halbert, Karl Halbert, and Shelly Foster; her grandchildren, Sarah Halbert, Sam Halbert, John (J) Foster, Charlie Green, Marjorie Green, Summer Warren, and Jesse Isaacs-Boyett; and her sister Anne Krieger. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Isaacs; her son, Guy Green; her grandson Larry Don Halbert, and four of her siblings.
A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa Oklahoma on June 19th, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Oklahoma Memory Care Institute for their compassionate care during Norma's illness.
