Norma L. Armstrong, 79, went to be with her Heavenly Father, on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, in Tulsa, OK. She was born on Wednesday, July 5, 1939, in Fayetteville, AR, to Woodrow Wilson Ammons and Ora Marie (Lawley) Ammons. Being a housewife was a job Norma took great pride in, and she was an excellent homemaker who enjoyed loving and nurturing her family, and raising her kids. She valued her friendships and relationships with family, and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her many grandchildren. Norma was an excellent cook, enjoyed crocheting, and shared her talent with many. She also enjoyed going to craft shows and garage sales, and shopping at Walmart. She is survived by 3 sons, Rick Reynolds and wife, Elaine of Broken Arrow, OK, Tim Reynolds of Tulsa, OK, and Kevin Reynolds and wife, Rhea of Tulsa, OK; stepson, Michael Armstrong and wife, Kathy of Texas; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Patricia Ann Smith of Broken Arrow, OK; and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Robert James Armstrong; daughter-in-law, Shannon Reynolds; and granddaughter, Stephanie Armstrong. Norma will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
