Obituary

Norma Sue (Susie) O'Neal Bugh went to be with her Lord on December 26 while under the care of St. Francis Hospice in the Chateau at Montereau. She was born in Drumright, OK on 6/15/1933 to Herbert and Roberta O'Neal, the oldest of 2 siblings. Susie graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1951 and then spent time with her parents in Venezuela before enrolling at Oklahoma A&M College, now Oklahoma State University, in 1952. She joined the Alpha Chi Omega sorority where she made many lifelong friends. Susie met the love of her life Donald (Don) Eugene Bugh while at OSU. She and Don married on March 20, 1954.

She and Don were married for 68 years!! They had 2 children (Lisa and Stan), have 5 grandkids, and currently 5 great grandkids. Susie loved on her family with fun family trips & holidays, much warmth, and was always encouraging them along their paths. Don & Susie had the gift of hospitality and together they never met a stranger that didn't become a friend!

Susie had a servant's heart and loved being hospitable first in her home and then at her church. She loved to sing in the choir and served on the missions committee for many years. She was a dedicated wife and mother and worked alongside Don providing a nurturing and loving home for Lisa and Stan. After Don completed a 2-year service in the Air Force and forty years in the oil gas business, she shifted her focus with him to grandkids, travel, serving at church and charity work. Besides her family, Susie had a love for travel, meeting new friends, playing bridge and they enjoyed attending Tulsa Men's Club events with Don. Hardly a day passed that Susie wasn't out supporting the retail community.

Susie is survived by her children, Lisa Thomas (Phil) and Stan Bugh (Ranee'), grandchildren Lauren Campbell (Brian), Courtney Dickens (Chase), Michelle Bugh, Stephen Bugh (Madeline), Zachary Thomas (Natalie) and great grandkids Claire Campbell, Ladd Dickens, Charlotte Campbell, Charlotte Bugh, and Porter Dickens.
