Norma Jean Hale, 86, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020. Jean was born on August 14, 1933 in Tulsa, OK, to Byron Stewart and Beatrice Stewart-Bristol. Jean was preceded in death by her son, William Gordon Hale,Jr. and her brother,Jim Stewart. Jean is survived by her daughter Jeanne Anson and husband Preston; Grandson Ryan Hale and wife Lisa; Granddaughter Krissa Shockley; Grandson William Joseph Hale and wife Beth; Granddaughter Danielle Roe and husband Doug; Great-grandchildren Ryann Beatt, Kylie Hale, David Riley, James Riley, Aubrey Jean Roe and Aria Roe; as well as her sisters Betty Stephens, Joan Miller and Donna Billings; brother, David Stewart and wife Donna; sister-in-law Judy Hale and many nieces and nephews.

Jean was blessed to retire early from American Airlines where she worked many years as an Executive Secretary for Sabre Systems. Jean loved traveling so American Airlines was a wonderful fit for her working years. After retirement Jean made her home in Naples,Florida with Glen "Smokey" Miller where she was able to exercise her passion for flowers and golfing year-round. Jean moved back to Tulsa to spend her final years close to her family which was and has always been her greatest joy in life. Jean loved spending time with her siblings, children and grandchildren and settled into a relaxed routine of exercise,bingo and music with her new friends at Town Village Tulsa. Jean was a very humble, quiet and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace on streets of Gold with our Lord and Savior.
