Norman J. Bax, 89, of Tulsa, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020. He was born March 7, 1931, in St. Elizabeth, MO, to August and Rosa Bax. He had retired in 1993 after working as supervisor/district manager for Beneficial Management Corp. for 40 years. He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and was a United States Navy veteran. He enjoyed golfing, traveling with his wife, Lenore, fishing and playing craps. Norman is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lenore Bax; his children, Brian Bax and wife, Patty of Weldon Spring, MO, Bradley Bax of O'Fallon, MO, Jeff Bax and wife, Lana of St. Paul, MO, Andrew Bax and wife, Angela of Tulsa, OK, John Bax of East Cobb, GA, Tom Bax and wife, Katie of Lake St. Louis, MO, Julie Merritt and husband, Roger of Broken Arrow, OK; twenty grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Norman was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Giles Bax; his sister, Lorraine Bax; and his grandson, Brendan Bax.
