Olen Gennell Cooper of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away at his home on March 27, 2026 at the age of 94. Olen was born September 29, 1931 in Geneva, Alabama to the late Dock and Ella Fair (Fleming) Cooper.
Olen was preceeded in death by his wife Jane (Anderson) Cooper. He and Jane were married for 69 years. Olen is survived by his sister Barbara Ann (Cooper) Holley (Edward) and his three daughters; Sandra (Cooper) McWaters (Bobby), Sherry (Cooper) Bales (Russell), and Terri (Cooper) Trevor (Robert). He was blessed with 12 grandchildren (Gene, Allyson, Christopher, Brian, Billie Jo, Nikk, Jennifer, Jared, Olen, Dustin, Tiffany and April). He also has 26 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
Olen loved his family very much although he was unable to see many of the grandchildren because they were scattered in several states. He was a wonderful father to his three daughters and they cherish the memories that they will carry with them. He will be missed more than he could possible know. Now that he is with Jane he can truly be at peace.
Olen served in the Army and afterwards worked in sales for most of his life. It's been said that "he could sell a bucket of ice to an Eskimo". During his career he also worked for Echols Furniture Company in Pensacola, Florida and Liberty National Life Insurance Company. It didn't take long after his retirement before he was back working again. He took a position with Graebel Van Lines in Houston, Texas. Olen's family was always his priority and he worked tirelessly to provide for all of their needs.
Olen and his wife Jane were members of the Broken Arrow Baptist Temple and loved their church famiy whether it was for worship, fellowship or working on projects.
Visitations and services will be held on Thursday, March 30th at the Broken Arrow Baptist Temple (2701 E. Albany St. Broken Arrow, OK to beginning at 9:00am. Graveside services are immediately following at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pastor Greg McEntire and Assistant Pastor Brenton McEntire will officiate the services.

John Masingale, Marty Wilkinson - Cayden Prince
