Opal E Barron, 87, lived her life for her Lord Jesus Christ and her family. She found great pleasure in being a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and prayer partner to anyone who needed her prayer of great faith. It was her love of Christ and testimonies of personal healings that she shared with friends or strangers who needed a boost in faith for their own healing.
Another great attribute was her ability to make people feel welcomed in her home. She made sure everyone was satisfied before they left one of her sumptuous meals complete with family favorite desserts of pecan pie and orange cake.
Opal will be missed by her family and most of all by her husband of 70 years. We did not lose Opal ? we know where she is and will be reunited with her again on those streets of gold.
