Opal Bernice Kelley, 91, born to Harlan and Pearl (Osborne) Reed on February 24th, 1930 in Hartford, AR passed away on August 5th, 2021 in Tulsa, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Harlan and Pearl; husband: Earl David Kelley; sisters: Mae Greene and Dortha Reed; brother: Donald Reed; and son: Danny Kelley.

Opal is survived by her children: Gene Kelley of Gentry, AR, Marilyn Ruth Deckard of Tulsa, OK, Donald Kelley of Tulsa, OK; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was employed by St. John's Hospital in Tulsa for 46 years. A true coal miners daughter, Opal loved her daily walks with her son, road trips with her daughter and family time with her grandchildren and dogs. She was very independent and strong willed, fought till the last day to live, not for herself but for her kids. We were unknowingly taught by her actions not words, never give up on your kids, live within your means and work for what you want. Opal was a dog lover for many years, a hero, good mom and best friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 10th at Moore's Memory Chapel 1403 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, OK 74120.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 11th at Moore's Memory Chapel with graveside following at 2:00 p.m. at Hartford Memorial Park Cemetery in Hartford, AR.
