Ora Jean Herbert, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023. She was 87 years old. Born on January 26, 1936 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ora Jean was the youngest of two, born to George and Opal Hauptmann.

She graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1954. In 1955, Ora Jean and Pat McCulley were married and had two sons, John and Robert. She divorced and a few years later in 1965, she married Jerry Herbert. They enjoyed scouting, attending church, camping, RV traveling and making memories. She and Jerry were married 37 years. After 31 years at Amerada Hess, she retired from the payroll department. Ora Jean was active in church groups, crafts, and quilting ministries.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Herbert, Ora Jean is survived by two children, John McCulley (spouse Kathy McCulley) and Robert McCulley, three grandchildren (Kari, Ashton and Kacie) and many nieces and nephews. She was loved by many and will be missed.

Viewing will be 12noon-8pm, Monday, August 28, 2023 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E 51st St., Tulsa, OK. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Yale Avenue Christian Church, 3616 S. Yale, Tulsa, OK.
