Owen Wesley Cohea, 57, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 1977, in Tulsa, OK. He was born on Wednesday, May 19, 1920, in Stillwell, OK, to Dorer Cohea and Minnie C. (Bieby) Cohea. Owen was proud to have served as a Sergeant in the Antitank Company, 201st Infantry in the United States Army. He was married to Wanda (Westmoreland) Cohea, and was self-employed in construction. Owen is survived by his wife, Wanda; 3 brothers, George Cohea of Tulsa, OK, Roy Cohea of Broken Arrow, OK, and Bill Cohea of Broken Arrow, OK; 2 sisters, Milbra Turner of Coldwater, MI, and Lucille Stockholm of Arkansas; nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Owen will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
