Obituary

ADAMSON, Patricia Ann Welsh 82, of Spring, TX, went to heaven Thursday, September 10, 2015. Pat was born in Baltimore, Md. on May 15, 1933 to the late Noel L. Welsh, Sr and Dorothy Anna Henry. Her parents moved to Tulsa, OK from Montclair, New Jersey when Pat was 15 years of age. Eventually she and her husband took up residence in Spring, TX.

After graduating Tulsa Central High School in 1951 she attended Oklahoma A&M (now OSU) in Stillwater, OK. She Graduated in 1955 as a Home Economics major and a member of Alpha Delta Pi. Her last two years in college she wrote a weekly column for the Tulsa Tribune. Patricia worked for First National Bank of Tulsa and after becoming a single parent worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas, Tulsa.

She was remarried to the love of her life, Gerald Peter Adamson on October 17, 1964 and lived in Tulsa, OK., before relocating to Alief, TX in 1969. She again relocated, upon the death of her husband in 1998, to Dallas, TX and California with her son and daughter in law. She settled in Spring, TX in 2010 with her daughter.

She is survived by two children: daughter, Leslie Adamson, TX; son, Mark Adamson and daughter in law (Diana), WA. She also is survived by two granddaughters, Natalie Adamson of WA.; and Wendy White of Spring, TX. Other family members include her sister, Dr Donna Lynne Taylor Clingman and (Keith), Enid; sister in law Nancy Jean Little and (Duane); and sister in law Eileen Welsh-Miller and (George).

The oldest child of Noel and Dorothy Welsh, she was preceded in death by her parents, brother Noel L. Welsh, Jr. and her beloved husband Gerald Peter Adamson.

Patricia will be remembered as a very intelligent, witty and humorous person. She loved homemaking, painting, QVC, reading and crossword puzzles. As a homemaker she was very passionate about tradition and being frugal.

Memorial Services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel on October 10, 2015 at 2 PM and a prayer at the gravesite afterward with Dr. Chris Thompson officiating.
