Patricia Ann (Thompson) Page passed away on November 5, 2016 at the age of 95. Born July 10, 1921, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Walker O. and Lucille Lamb Thompson. She attended Marquette School from the first through the twelfth grade - when the school still included high school and was taught by the Benedictine Oder - and graduated from Tulsa University in 1944 with a B.S. in Business. While at Tulsa University, she was a member and officer of the Chi Omega Sorority.
During World War II, she married her college classmate, Reavis Matthew Page, Jr., a LT Commander in the US Navy, while he was on leave in Portland, Maine. He returned to Tulsa where they started their family. They lived briefly in San Diego, CA when Reavis was recalled to active duty in the US Navy during the Korean War. At the time of his death in 2005, they had been married 61 years.
She was a Mother first, and a fierce advocate of education in all forms. She unrelentingly encouraged her children to read, and provided them with extra- curriculum classes in art, music, dancing, and ice-skating. When asked for parenting advice, she would say "Keep them busy learning". And she did.
She spent her last years at St. Simeon's Assisted Living, and the care she received both from her St. John's doctors and the St. Simeon's facility staff was deeply appreciated by her and her family.
She was a member of the Christ the King Parrish, and later joined Church of the Madalene, where a funeral mass will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 1:00 pm.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her two older brothers, Michael and Jack, and her husband, Reavis M. Page, Jr. She is survived by her three children, Mary Michael Page, of Publier, France; Kathleen Page and her husband, Michael Graves, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and her son, Matthew Arthur Page, his wife, Ute, and their three children, Daniel, Martin, and Patricia of Wilmington, Delaware. Her loving extended family includes many nieces, and nephews, and their children and grandchildren.
Pat requested In lieu of flowers to make a donation in her name to the St. Simeon's Employee Education Fund. Please continue her memory by giving book to a child in your life. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at
