Pat was born Jan. 12, 1935, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Earl and Hazel Drew. She was married on May 14, 1954, to Stephen D. Banks and they were happily married for 53 years. Pat was the ultimate "shopper" and "saved" Dad a lot of money. She loved to give gifts to others. Pat was active in Christian women's organizations, excelled in Ikebana flower arranging, cooking, and was the ultimate hostess.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stephen Douglas Banks; and grandson, Trever L. Peterson.

She is survived by her three children, Stephanie Bredesen and husband Steve Bredesen, Douglas Banks and wife Debra Banks, and Lori Banks; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren with one more on the way.

Her early years were spent in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pat's family moved to southern California during the Depression. They moved often as her father was a building contractor. She made lifelong friends all along the way. They settled in Eugene, Oregon where Pat graduated from high school and met her life-long partner, Steve, at a Christian youth camp meeting. Steve and Pat married on May 14, 1954. After Steve's time in the Air Force he joined IBM. They moved on many occasions including Japan, Hawaii, and Alaska. Pat's greatest joy was being at her husband's side through all their adventures all over the world. She will always be remembered for her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her husband, and her family.

Visitation was held on Friday, Sept. 22 at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton, Montana. Services were held at The River Church (1st Baptist Church) in Hamilton, Montana.
