Patricia Ann "Pat" Chandler, 82 of Tulsa, passed away quietly at 5:20 AM, Tuesday, September 4, 2018, in Tulsa, OK.

She was born on August 5, 1936, to the late Lester and Betty (Drane) Daniels in Russell, Kansas. Pat graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1954 before attending Oklahoma State University (formerly Oklahoma A&M) where she was an active member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She married the late great NFL kicker/punter Don Chandler in 1956. They resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and lived part-time in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and New York City, New York, during Don's career with the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants.

Pat was an active member in the community and many charities, including the Tulsa Boys Home, where she was a staunch advocate for children. Pat and her family welcomed many foster kids into their home during the holidays, making them feel loved and part of a family. Pat was also very active in Red Glove Revue and PEO Women's Group. She was a lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church and a charter member of Cedar Ridge Country Club.

A devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Pat will always be remembered as being the rock of her family, whose beautiful spirit was always there for those in need. Family and friends were Pat's passion and delight. She grew up in Tulsa with her late brother, Lester A. Daniels. She loved to host and entertain at her home. Pat enjoyed traveling the world with family and friends, was an avid reader and an expert in crossword puzzles.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Betty (Drane) Daniels, her brother Lester A. Daniels (2002), her beloved daughter Kelle Diane Knight (2005) and her devoted husband, Don Chandler (2011).

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Bret and Roxanne Chandler of Tulsa; son and daughter-in-law: Cory and Kimber Chandler of Springfield, MO; daughter Caron Chandler-McCloskey of Tulsa; son-in-law, Michael Knight of Auburn, GA; 10 grandchildren: Kevin Knight, Amy Knight Root, Conner Chandler, Tyler Chandler, Marci McCloskey, Mitchell McCloskey, Megan McCloskey, Donovan Chandler, Jackson Chandler and Beau Chandler; and her great grandchildren: Jack Knight, Piper Knight and Avery Root.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation at Saint Francis.
