Patty Presley, age 67, passed Friday, July 8, 2016 after a long battle against cancer. Patricia Ann Wallin was born February 24, 1949 in Montebello, California, the third daughter of Voyle "Arkie" and Audra Wallin. She was a class of '67 graduate from Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Patty was a hard worker. As a young woman she worked in Tulsa at Pizza Inn, Catherine's Dress Shop, and Johnnie Lee Wills' Western Wear. She worked many years in local grocery stores, staffing as a clerk for Safeway and progressing to Produce Manager. Later she demonstrated her unique, creative style as a florist for Homeland. She was active with the United Food and Commercial Workers Union.

After retiring, she worked as an office aide for Tulsa Public Schools. Patty also coordinated and arranged flowers for many weddings and special events. Her favorite job was being NeNe to her four grandkids. Patty enjoyed shopping and talking on the phone. She loved to laugh and always looked forward to the next family celebration or vacation. Eureka Springs, Arkansas, was her frequent destination. Patty was a great wife, caring mother, wonderful grandmother, and loyal friend. She would do anything to help the people she loved.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Tom Presley; daughter Shawna Merritt and son in-law Christian; grandchildren Greyson, Joseph, Thatcher, and Elanor; sister Connie Childers and brother in-law Sam of Tulsa, sister Betty Pamplin of Frisco, Texas; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation at will be 6-8 P.M., Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 3:00 P.M., at Memorial Baptist Church, 2800 South Yale in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
