Paul Everton Campbell passed away Friday, September 2nd, 2016, at his Tulsa home.
He was born November 13th, 1924, in Crown Point, Indiana, and grew up in New Albany, Indiana.
Paul served in WWII in Germany and Central Europe, then received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Transylvania College and his Masters of Science in Chemistry from The University of Louisville.
In 1952 Paul joined Phillips Petroleum Company in Bartlesville, Oklahoma as a Chemist and worked there his entire career. He retired in 1985.
Paul is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mardell Campbell; his children, Keith Campbell and his wife Ruth of Catharine, Kansas, Becky Gray and her husband Jim of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Lisa Campbell Ernst and her husband Lee of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Allison Ernst, Elizabeth Ernst-Miller and her husband Robbie, Kevin Gray and his wife Michelle, Marshall Gray and his wife Cailey, Ben Gray and his wife Cassie; and seven great grandchildren.
Throughout his life Paul was an active member of the Disciples of Christ Church. He enjoyed golf, tennis, fishing, and hunting. Most importantly, Paul Campbell was a family man who led by example, good humor, and love.
Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at First Christian Church, 913 S. Boulder, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
