Paul was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Paul Earl and Gloria Lynnetta Harding on August 21, 1948. He enlisted in the US Army in 1967, where he served in the Vietnam conflict. He returned to the States in 1969 and married Sharon Petersen in 1970. That year, they welcomed their daughter, Gloria. Their second child, Paul Raymond Harding II (RJ), was born in 1976. After Sharon's passing, Paul married Brenda Lawson in 1998.
He worked at Dowell Industries, Cooper Manufacturing, and Taylor Rig as a mechanic. He traveled the United States and Canada delivering and repairing oil rigs. He traveled to Bogota, Columbia for work as recently as 12 years ago. He retired in 2010.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Gloria, and both Sharon and Brenda. He is survived by his daughter Gloria Miller and her husband Brian, his son RJ Harding and his partner Janna Eremita, six grandchildren, Nicholas Foster, Alexis Miller, Makayla Adams, Dylan Harding, Brooklyn Harding, Sheridan Miller Kardos, and two great-grandchildren, Carson and Venna Adams.
