Paul Samuel Septer, Jr. was the only child of Paul S. Septer and Ruby Hazel Septer. Born on March 6, 1941 in Wichita, Kansas, he spent most of his years in Tulsa. As a young boy he attended school at Betty Rombaugh Private School, Tulsa, and special classes at John Brown University, Siloam Spring, AR.

After his parents death, he became a resident of Gatesway Foundation for developmentally disabled individuals in Broken Arrow. He worked there until his retirement. In 2009 he moved to Cedarcrest Care Center, Broken Arrow, where he resided for many years until his recent passing. He had a close relationship with the staff and friends there who were such a blessing to Paul.

From early childhood Paul was a great fan of John Wayne, Roy Rogers and many other early western movie stars. His memory was without equal and he was able to share many facts about all of those stars and well as keep up with all the latest developments in the news and on television. Paul was quite a character and those with whom he was close have many entertaining stories to share.

Toward the end of his life Hometown Hospice provided an extended family through their love and caring. Paul loved the Lord and his family is now celebrating that he is with them in Heaven. He is survived by numerous cousins.

Service will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 5, 2016 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
