Paul James Simpson, 92, was born on August 17, 1921 in San Francisco, CA and passed from this life on Saturday, February 15, 2014 in Tulsa. He attended Oklahoma A&M before serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Paul was an inspector for Rockwell International, an avid sports fan, a member of Eastland Assembly of God Church, and M.A.P.S. He is survived by daughters Paulette Strickland of Claremore, Janet Hillhouse and husband Bud of Tulsa, OK, Cyndi Tolbert and husband Larry of Claremore, 11 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren, sister Arlene Westphal of Yuma, AZ. Preceded in death by his wife Pearl, mother Bessie Simpson, father Charlie Simpson, step-mother Preppa Simpson, brothers Howard, Eugene and Carl Edward Simpson, sister Virginia Park, son-in-law Gerry Strickland and grandson, Gerry Paul Strickland. Family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel. Service Friday at 10:00 a.m., Eastland Assembly of God Church, interment Floral Haven Cemetery.
