Paula Ann Richardson, 59, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on March 27, 2024 due to complications following surgery.
"Miss Paula" was the cherished wife of Wade Richardson for 39 years. Together, they built a spirit-led life full of faith, family, friends, adventures, and laughter.
Second to her faith, family was the most important element in Paula's life and she cherished every moment with her daughters and grandchildren. Paula was voted "most friendly" her senior year of high school and she has never met a stranger. Her welcoming persona & kindness were contagious, and she had an open door to anyone who crossed her path.
Growing up in Sand Springs, Paula graduated from Charles Page High School in 1982, continuing onto Oklahoma Christian University in OKC and then onto the Houston Bible Training Work in Houston TX. Afterward she worked in various child development and education programs ranging from Mother's Day Out programs to Children's Nutrition Education for several local school systems. She operated REO cleaning services from 1995 to 2013 and Dixie Pearl Boutique from 2014 to 2019.
Paula's circle of friends is far reaching, including longtime friends from her youth, her family of faith, and most recently her pickleball family.
Paula retired in 2020 and filled her days interacting with her grandchildren, keeping up with her Golden-doodle Charlie (with us today), coordinating all family gatherings, attending various women's bible studies, bicycling, walking, exercising, and playing pickleball.
Paula & Wade were members of the Park Church of Christ in Tulsa, where they volunteered together in various ministries for the past 24 years.
Paula leaves behind a legacy of love & friendliness. In addition to her husband she leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law Jennifer & Riley Chipman of Stillwater OK, daughter and son-in-law Morgan & Nick Anderson of Tulsa OK, and bonus daughter & son-in-law Adrianne & Jacob Lonsinger of Owasso. Also her grandchildren Wendy, Wyatt, Rollin, Delta, Westley and Everett. She is proceeded in death by her parents, an older brother, and her twin brother Paul Freymuth of Tulsa.
Viewing Saturday, 1 - 7 PM at Moore Southlawn Chapel. Funeral service 1:00 PM Monday, April 1st at The Park Church of Christ. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
